Please join us on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, as we welcome Steve Beam to Touché. Steve Beam’s bourbon roots run deep. Steve’sgreat-great grandfather was Joseph Washington Dant, an early bourbon pioneer. On the other side of his family tree, he is the great-grandson to Minor Case Beam, the eldest son of Joseph M. Beam, of the legendary Beam lineage.

WHY LIMESTONE BRANCH DISTILLERY? Since college, it was Steve’s dream to return the Yellowstone brand back to the family. In 2010, together with his brother Paul, they started Limestone Branch Distillery. Shortly thereafter, they brought the Yellowstone back to the family and restored it to its original glory, more than a century after his great-grandfather Minor Case Beam sold his distillery to J.W. Dant. Limestone Branch Distillery today blends the Beam history and heritage with the brothers’ passion for making great spirits in small batches.

Enjoy a “21” Day “Barrel Aged” Manhattan made with Yellow Stone Bourbon, Carpana Antica Sweeet Vermouth touch of  Amaretto Disaronno and Cherry Heering and a dash Trinity Bitters, with a Luxardo Cherry.

Dinner & Whiskey Tasting

6:30 to 8:00 $65

Yellowstone Bourbon and Minor Case Rye Tasting; Steve Beam will lead us through a whiskey tasting featuring Yellowstone “Select” Bourbon, Yellowstone “Limited Edition 2017” Bourbon & Minor Case ‘Straight Rye Whiskey” Sherry Cask finished.

Cream of Ohio Corn Soup Cappuccino, Mascarpone Cheese Espuma, Purée of Lorain County sweet corn Cappuccino with Mascarpone cheese foam, toasted corn nuts.

Roast Tenderloin of Beef, Classical Bourbon Espagnole Sauce

Roast Tenderloin of Beef served over over creamy cheddar grits, with smoked wild mushrooms and finished with a bourbon Espagnole sauce.

Pecan & Chocolate Tart, Bourbon Crème Anglaise

A tart filled with caramel custard, pecans, and chocolate with Chantilly cream and French vanilla bean ice cream and bourbon crème anglaise sauce.

Enjoy a “21” Day “Barrel Aged” Vieux Carrré made with Minor Case ‘Straight Rye Whiskey”, Dussé VSOP Cognac, Carpana Antica Sweeet Vermouth, Bénédictine Liqueur with Peychaud and Angostura Bitters, garnished with an orange peel.
